Connor's Pre-School Christmas Party

I was invited to be a teacher's helper for Connor's preschool christmas party.

Our Christmas Tree

We finally got the decorations up and put the tree up. The kids were over while their parents were at work, so I put them to good use and had them decorate the tree. We have a lot of handmade ornaments from both Greg's and my family (including a lot of my bear ornaments). Greg still has a collection of Hallmark ornaments from Star Trek, Star Wars and some others. We trimmed the tree with ropes of beads, it has a more old-fashioned look to it.

The kids wanted a picture of them after they finished the decorating job.

Santa Pics

There are two pictures, because I laughed so hard when I saw how the other one turned out. First we tried pictures with his hat on, then I took it off and got another picture. His smile was OK, but I could tell they wouldn't let me take that many more pictures (remember Connor is ready to pass out). I paid for the one of him without his hat. But the guy behind the camera told me to check out his "gangsta" look with his hat on. Greg loves that picture.

A day at Town Center Mall

This playground is in the middle of the new outdoor mall on Las Vegas Blvd, Town Center. We got there a little early for Santa pictures and Connor had a great time playing on all of the slides, houses, rocking horses, maze and pretend kitchen. He played so hard that when we went for Santa pictures, he almost fell asleep on Santa's lap.

Here is a picture of Connor with his dog Zoe (short for Arizona). We have had her for 2 years now and she is still our crazy dog. Connor likes to play with her and give her hugs.

I have sunset pictures too...

I was inside the house and saw this orange glow through the windows. It was this really beautiful sunset, so I grabbed my camera and took a couple of pictures. See Mom, we have really great sunsets too, of course they don't happen as often as the ones on the coast.

Thanksgiving 2007

We had a great day. Stephanie and her family came over for dinner along with one of Gabe's friends, and Greg's friend Kiley and his kids. We ate, then the kids played the Wii bowling/golf/baseball while the big kids played Guitar Hero (we are addicted to that game). We each take turns to see who can play the song to the end. We had pumpkin pie for dessert then we all went home (except for us, since it was at our house). I love being able to see your thanksgiving pictures and hear about your day.

This is my turkey I made. We ate buffet style so it didn't make it onto a platter. I mean really, could you ask for a better looking turkey.
